Thomas Parsons  1645 -1701

By his first marriage, Thomas had 3 children. The children of Thomas and Sarah Dare were as follows:

1 Sarah Oct 12, 1669 birth recorded in Windsor.  Married Henry Stiles @ Windsor in 1698

3 Thomas, Jr. Jan 2, 1673/4  "               "               "             Died at Windsor, CT. in Dec. 1680
4 Nathaniel Austin abt 1676 Son of Anthony Austin. Adopted by Thomas & Priscilla in 1699. Married in January 1703, Abigail Hovey, age 21, granddaughter of Deacon Daniel Hovey of Brookfield.

Note:  Thomas and wife Priscilla adopted Nathaniel Austin of Suffield, CT. Records in Windsor show a Thomas Parsons died Dec. 14, 1680. But Thomas and Priscilla are later found in Suffield, CT. in 1700, where they adopt Nathaniel in order to establish an heir for their estate, implying that there were no living children of Thomas Parsons of Brookfield as of 1699.
