Total 78 residents
Two sets of twins (sons) were born during the siege. In a
month's time all were brought on foot safely to Boston. No legal record of
the births appears anywhere. The most likely couples selected as the parents
were Thomas and Joan Kent and Richard, Jr., and Sarah Coy. If these
assumptions were true, then the twins born to the Kent's were uncles to the
twins born to the Coys.
Aug 2-5, 1675 -
In addition to the settlers, approximately 20 militia members returned to
the security of the Fortified House following the surprise attack on the
troop, as they traveled through the New Braintree area.
